The good news is that it's Monday and time for a new Outlines Rubber Stamp design team challenge. Join the Design Team in our weekly challenges with a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate each week! Please check out the details of how to play and win on the Outlines Blog!
This week our challenge was to create a project using a sketch as as our inspiration. I love designing from a sketch and had a lot of fun creating this for our team to use. I hope you'll create along with us this week!
Here's the sketch we're using this month.
Joyful
I had so much fun creating for this sketch. I found the Joyful (H-1159) image and thought it perfect for my vertical space. I stamped the butterflies on Solar White cardstock with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and embossed with clear powder. I colored with Distress inks using a water brush and then spritzed with Mister Huey's Calico White spray (love this!!). I carefully trimmed and placed in their original formation on my card front. A little Pink Sorbet twine rounds out the design.
I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration. We've added the fabulous Julie Warner to our team! All the best to Robin and Sandy, who were on the 2011 Outlines team. You will be missed!
