Fly a Kite

Spring is all about being outside and enjoying the weather!  I stamped the Gift Card Holder - Kid and used the center of the image because flying a kite just screams Spring to me!  I colored my image with copic markers and added some Ice White pearl pen and Holo Iridescent Glitter Liner to give it added shine.

Hello!!!  It's Monday and time for a new Outlines Rubber Stamp design team challengeJoin the Design Team in our weekly challenges with a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate each week!  Please check out the details of how to play and win on the Outlines Blog

This week our challenge was to create a project for St. Patty's Day.  I hope you'll create along with us this week!

Clover Jewel

I opted to make my four leaf clover the center of this design.  I stamped the Clover Jewel (D-1020) image with Blackbird fluid chalk ink.  I colored very simply with copic markers and added my all-time favorite embellishment... Ice White pearl pen by Viva Decor.  I centered this on a background stamped image featuring the 3-D Circle Background in Sour Apple fluid chalk ink.

I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration.  We'd love it if you joined in the fun!

Hello!!!  It's Monday and time for a new Outlines Rubber Stamp design team challengeJoin the Design Team in our weekly challenges with a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate each week!  Please check out the details of how to play and win on the Outlines Blog

So, are you hip to be square?  This week our challenge was to create a square card, perhaps with a square image.  I hope you'll create along with us this week!

Birthday Balloons
I stamped the Flower Balloon Square Lg (E-403) image with Black Soot Distress ink and embossed clear powder to give this some shine.  I colored very simply with copic markers to match my patterned paper (Sweet and Sour Soup by Jillibean Soup).  And because this image just screams for shimmer, I added my all-time favorite embellishment... Ice White pearl pen by Viva Decor.

I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration.  We'd love it if you joined in the fun!

This week our challenge was to create a project using this sketch.  I hope you'll create along with us this week!

Spring Tulips

I stamped the Tiptoe (I-1148) image on Aquarello Watercolor paper with a waterproof ink.  I watercolored the image simply with Distress Stains.  When my image was dry, I used a light coat of Glimmer Glam Glitter Paint to coat the tulip image with a subtle shimmer.  It's really shiny in real life.

I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration.  We'd love it if you joined in the fun!

Outlines Rubber Stamps Challenge - Follow Your Heart

Hello!!!  It's Monday and time for a new Outlines Rubber Stamp design team challengeJoin the Design Team in our weekly challenges with a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate each week!  Please check out the details of how to play and win on the Outlines Blog

This week our challenge was to create a project with hearts in our project.  I hope you'll create along with us this week!

Flower Power

I stamped the Venus Jewel (D-884) three times on Solar White cardstock with Black Soot Distress ink and embossed with clear powder.  I colored the image simply with Copic markers and carefully trimmed from the cardstock.  I adhered to my card front and embellished with Ice White pearl pen.  The benefit of using the Viva pearl pens is that they do not warp your paper, so you can add to a finished project.

I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration.  We'd love it if you joined in the fun!

Outlines Rubber Stamps Challenge - Sketch

Hello!!!  Happy New Year!  It's hard to believe a new year is upon us already!

The good news is that it's Monday and time for a new Outlines Rubber Stamp design team challengeJoin the Design Team in our weekly challenges with a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate each week!  Please check out the details of how to play and win on the Outlines Blog

This week our challenge was to create a project using a sketch as as our inspiration.  I love designing from a sketch and had a lot of fun creating this for our team to use.  I hope you'll create along with us this week!

Here's the sketch we're using this month.

Joyful

I had so much fun creating for this sketch.  I found the Joyful (H-1159) image and thought it perfect for my vertical space.  I stamped the butterflies on Solar White cardstock with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and embossed with clear powder.  I colored with Distress inks using a water brush and then spritzed with Mister Huey's Calico White spray (love this!!).  I carefully trimmed and placed in their original formation on my card front.  A little Pink Sorbet twine rounds out the design.

I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration.  We've added the fabulous Julie Warner to our team!  All the best to Robin and Sandy, who were on the 2011 Outlines team.  You will be missed!
