I've been doing several fun / cutesy projects this month, so I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit.  I used very natural, organic feeling products (wood, twine, straw-grained paper).

CPS Sketch # 279 - The {Stamps} of Life

Hello!  It's time for another CPS Sketch project.  I'm still creating with the {Stamps} of Life and having  a blast!

Sweet Pea

This was a quick and fast project... I think the most time was spent on the fussy cuts.

I layered the same Spearmint ink by stamping off the solid green pea pod once before stamping for my image (generation stamping).  The stripes were stamped directly and the separate peas were stamped twice.  Because the stamps are clear, it's easy to stamp the images a second time in the exact same spot.  Perfect, right?  And all the green inks match, because it's all the same ink!

Hello!  It's time for another CPS Sketch project.  I'm still creating with the {Stamps} of Life and have another project to share.

This was just a cool, Cool, COOL sketch!  As soon as I saw it, I knew the hexagons2love set would be the perfect image set to use!

I used lots of dimension too.  I love the clean lines to this project... and if I were to remake this, I might be tempted to add texture to the matte layer.  What do you think?

I was inspired to create a patterned paper with my stamps from the daisies4you stamp set.  My jumping point was the Garden pattern from the So Happy Together series by Echo Park.

 

 

 

What do you think?  A close match?  The colors were easy to match with the Clearsnap ColorBox fluid chalk inks.  Super fun!

Inchies were the perfect palette for this sketch.  I love using chipboard inchies, not just because they stamp and ink wonderfully, but they add a bit of height and dimension.
