ATC Swap

I was recently invited to join an ATC (Artist Trading Card) swap, highlighting different techniques.

The first one I made is for Dry Embossing. I added technique "how-to" info on the back of each card.

Supplies: Cardstock - Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery; Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, Taken with Teal, Cameo Coral; Accessories: Embossing brass template, stylus, Small Oval Punch; Stamps; Love It

This first ATC was my least favorite, once it was finished. I don't know why I didn't like it. I think if this had been a regular sized card, I would have added ribbon. Maybe I'll head back to the drawing board.

The next card is for the Faux Metal technique. I have to say this is my favorite technique. Heather asked me to join based on the same card I have in my gallery... what a wonderful honor (thanks Heather / Windy Scrapper)! This ATC is a copy of that card.

Supplies: Cardstock - Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, Watercolor paper; Ink: Black Stazon, Versamark, Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: linen thread, heat gun, copper embossing powder, watercolor crayons, aquapainter; Stamps: Balmy Breezes

Another ATC is for the Rubber Cement Resist technique. I also used Paper Piecing with this card and loved the effect. I'm not a huge fan of Rubber Cement resist for a full background. But, it's a great style as the egg on the card! LOL!

Supplies: Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Cranberry Crisp, Old Olive, Confetti White; Ink: Black Stazon; Accessories: scissors, rubber cement, watercolor crayons, aquapainter, sponge, brayer, Stamps: Crosshatch BG and Best of Cluck

The next technique was Reverse Masking. I think the card turned out pretty well, all things said.

Supplies: Cardstock; Mellow Moss, Pale plum, Very Vanilla; Ink: Mellow Moss, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Black; Accessories: ribbon, scissors, copy paper, hobby knife, mat, sponge, post-it note; Stamps: Paisley BG, Aida Cloth BG, Flowers for a Friend.

My last ATC was similar to one we did in Stamp Camp. I loved the colors and the technique was the same - Direct to Stamp with Watercolor Crayons.

Supplies: Cardstock: Rose Red, Always Artichoke, Shimmery White, Vintage Violet; Ink: Rose Red, Black, Always Artichoke; Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks, Amazing to Zany, French Script BG; Acessories: color spritz tool, marker, watercolor crayons, water bottle / sprayer.

Ultimately, I hope everyone that receives my ATC's likes the cards. I had a blast doing this and really enjoyed trying new techniques. I know I'm going to love having all the techniques in a book for inspiration!

Thanks!
