CPS Sketch # 271 - No Sponsor

Hello!  It's time for another CPS Sketch project.  This was a gorgeous sketch this week... I think I'll tuck this one away as a favorite of mine.

happy happy birthday

This happy card was given to my mom, who celebrated her birthday last week.  And since the sketch was all set for me, it made creating this all about the colors and elements.  So much fun!

Thanks for visiting,
lisa

CHF Challenge CHF03 - Pearls and Lace

Hello!  Welcome to Cornish Heritage Farms' next challenge (CHF03).  The design team will be working together to spotlight a different theme every two weeks and would love it you join us for the fun.

The theme today:  Pearls and Lace.
Lace Gift Box
So - it's VERY subtle, but I stampe on the top of my Sea Blue box the Large Polka Dot Backgrounder in white.  The color is faint, but trust me... it's there!
Directions:
1) Cut two squares of cardstock, one in Sea Blue (5.5” square) and one of Solar White (5.25” square).
2) Score all sides of both squares at 1.25” and fold.
3) Cut flaps along the scores at each corner and remove a small wedge. This allows the box edges to align properly.
4) Stamp polka dots on the top of the box.
5) Adhere the sides of the box (top and bottom) and embellish.

    CPS Sketch # 268 - Sizzix

Hello!  It's time for another CPS Sketch challenge.  Sizzix is sponsoring this month.

    a note for you

Oh how I love Sizzix!!!!  This is a relatively new love for me since I won (yes, won!!) a Vagabond a few months ago.  I really love good tools and enjoy every die I have now!

This die is no exception.  It's just wonderful!  Flip-its dies create action cards.

I die cut two of the same fancy frames cards and used the white one to create the central panel.  I just carefully trimmed along the edge to make it smaller than the original frame for a perfect matte.  Super fast and super simple!  I love it!

    Thanks for visiting,
    Lisa

CHF Challenge CHF02 - Just for Baby

Hello!  Welcome to Cornish Heritage Farms' next challenge (CHF02).  The design team will be working together to spotlight a different theme and would love it you join us for the fun.

The theme today:  Just for Baby!  Create a project for baby with a favorite CHF set or image.

    Sweet Baby
While this baby card is all in blue, it could be used for a sweet baby girl, don't you think?  If you wanted to make this more for a new baby boy, swap the flowers for buttons and add an accent color of green or yellow.

I'd love it if you stopped by to see what the other designers are posting today:
