CPS Sketch # 153 - Papertrey Inc. #2

I really loved the CPS Sketch # 153 that I had to create a second card.

Thanks for Everything:

I loved the simple flower and HAD to try a dimensional project.  In fact, as soon as I saw the image, I knew I'd go that route right away.  I used the paper tole technique, stamping multiples of the flower, coloring with copic markers and trimming to separate the petals.  I sprayed with water to allow me to shape the petals (and leaves) and heat set to dry in the shape I wanted.

For once, what I saw in my head translated to paper!  Hah!

I also airbrushed with my Copic Y32/Y38 to give that glow behind the flower.  And everything is layers of dimension.

I hope you'll join us this week at the CPS blog for a chance at a great Papertrey prize pack!

Thanks for visiting!

  4. Wow, this is absolutely stunning!! Your coloring is so fine that the flower actually looks like you stamped it on clear velum because it appears translucent. tfs
