TTC01 Coloring Challenge

Hello.  I had a little free time this weekend and thought I'd join in the Touch Twin Markers challenge - their first challenge, in fact!

The criteria of the challenge was to create a project with a person image - playful, realistic... whatever.

TTC01
Sweet Star

I just love the sweet expression on Brittany from Simply Betty Stamps.  I think she can be a sweet, wholesome girl with one color palette and a little minx with another.  I just love that!  I picked the sweet look today.  She has some acid washed, well-loved jeans, some big blue eyes and highlighted hair.  To give the jeans some texture, I added some blending solution to a small scrap of muslin and dabbed on the colored jeans.  I think it gives a great effect!

I added a strip of denim to my card from a pair of shorts my son outgrew.  I stitched it to my card panel with a sewing machine.

I don't own any ShinHanTouch Twin markers yet, but I colored with Copic markers and had a blast.  Here's a close up of the coloring.
Anyway - it was just the type of relaxing I needed before another crazy week  of work.

Thanks for visiting,
lise
