This is a very classy technique. It can look ultra-modern or simple. I'd never tried the technique, but thought it would be perfect for a fast card.
Here's my card:
You can use a punch to highlight the colored portion (achieve the spotlight), but I chose to make this into a metal edge tag. I stamped the image twice, trimmed a circle with the template provided, fit it into an empty Making Memories rim, and pinched to create a tag. It correlates well with the pewter brads.Below is a close up of the image (colored with copic markers):
I'm really happy with how this card completed.
