Is it Spring yet????

I'm ready. Winter hasn't been that bad for the St. Louis area... but I'm ready.

This image just speaks of soft weather and budding trees. The stamps are from Cornish Heritage Farms and are the Stamp of the Month for January / February. If you've never taken the plunge and bought a SOTM before, I highly recommend it. The images are top notch and a wonderful value. Asela Hopkins is the artist who weaved her magic for this beautiful butterfly... and you can find it HERE.This layout is a very different one for me, but I love the effect. I tend to layer... until you can't mail, much less lift the card. The main focal point for the card is single layer (watercolored with Adirondack inks). I added the interest by punching out squares in a couple of sizes and randomly adhering to the cardfront. I add the swirls to the designer paper so that they look as though they were part of the original design.

Thanks for stopping by,

Lisa
