Can GM images be Glamorous?

You know, I had to wonder if it's possible for GM images to be glamorous. But it is!  This new set (Crown Jewel from the GM Collection at CHF) will be released on Thursday.

Diamonds... are a Girl's Best Friend

My design idea when I saw this set was to create a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or Hepburn-esque style project. I used the beloved Tiffany colors (light blue and black).  There's a bit of texture to the main matte of the card - I used the Flourish Impressabilities.

I also added millions of glittering bits to it too...  The AMAZING necklace image was stamped and then carefully painted with Smooch silver paint.  Then, I added varying sizes of rhinestones to give all these stamped gems the real deal!

Not to be forgotten, I stamped the sparkle to dot the "i" in diamonds and add a gem.

I was really pleased with how this finished.  I'm thinking this would be a great "girl's night out" invite... for a night of glam / spa treatments at home.  What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by,
lise

  1. I think Holly Golightly would be delighted to accept your kind invitation of a night in with the girls - who needs men, anyway? ;o) Love the way this came out, Lise, the touch of texture is perfect with the sophisticated look and your bling is just on the right side of tasteful!
