I don't always like mass producing cards. My limit is usually around 10 or 12 cards per design. Since I send so many, I started making more than one design. Not only does it help me break up the monotony of multiples, I can use more of my holiday images and papers.
Both of the card designs below are from Julie Ebersole's collection with Ellen Hutson. I love her images and always look forward to the releases.
Tis the Season
I cut a window in the front of my card panel and had my speeding car driving through. Because I colored with Copic markers, it's not a true one layer card. I didn't want the color to seep through to the back of the finished project. I added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella Clear pen, covered with Glossy Accents and added in a bit of snow for our winter travelers. I also added the Stitched Flourish behind the car, but it's only visible when the project is open. This is a simple and flat card, perfect for mailing.
Noel
I colored this very simply with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I really loved the simplicity of the Mondo Poinsettia image.
Thanks for stopping by!
