Apology...

I didn't want to have to enable word verification for blog comments, but I've been getting some weird ones.  Sorry about that.

Thanks for anyone that does stop by and leave comments.  I appreciate it!

Super Sweet!

I received an award from Joanne at Ambrosia and Iron... if you haven't made your way to her blog, you should run (don't walk!!!).  She'll inspire you with each project.  I love to browse her posts and I'm inspired by her unique way of looking at things.

And she nominated me for this award!  Very high praise indeed!

I have so many favorite blogs that I browse... my mom's blog (love to see her creating and sharing her talent - luv ya, mom!), all of the CHF DT's blogs ---> see the list!!!, Joan Bardee (for her fantastic projects and amazing humor), to all the stamping rock stars that I stalk... I mean follow...

Thanks to everyone that reads my blog and for all the inspiration that I find in the stamping community.  Thanks, Joanne!

Hugs,

lise

Edited before this went live!!!!

Christi at Blessings on Paper also nominated me!!!!  Can you believe it?  How wonderful is that?!?!?  Christi has a fabulous sense of style, fun color combinations and creates projects with all the rights details!  Thanks for the nomination, Christi.  I'm blessed to have you come by, comment and spend time with us in the forums.

Bad Blogger!

Oh my word!  I've been such a bad blogger lately!  I'm SO Sorry!  We went on vacation and then I had a million things to do (that of course, didn't get done when I was away).

Holly at Hog Wild About Stamping tagged me, so I thought I'd post that today... to get me back in the blogging swing of things.

Ten years ago: I was a relatively new mom.  My daughter was born in January of 1998...  she was a ball that summer; crawling, playing, and smiling!

Five things in today’s 'to do list':

1. Upload pictures to my gallery... which I've been neglecting lately.
2. Write another blog post for the CHF Challenge tomorrow.
3. Figure out dinner... unless I can talk my family into pizza from Racconelli's around the corner.
They have seriously yummy New York style pizza!
4. Read the news on the CHF Forum and stop by the gallery for a little commenting...
5. Make my lunch for work tomorrow.  Bummer.  Monday's are awful.

Five Snacks I enjoy:

1. Popcorn
2. Pretzels
3. Chips and salsa.
4. Ice cream - of ANY kind.  I have a serious addiction here.
5. Dry Cheerios from the box.

Things I would do if I was a millionaire:

1. Pay off debt and quit my day job so I could do what I love... stamp!
2. Hire someone to clean my house.
3. See that my family was taken care of too
4. Invest.
5. Donate and volunteer.

Places I have lived (see the pattern - I'm a home body):
1. Spanish Lake, Missouri
2. Florissant, Missouri
3. St. Peters, Missouri

OK... the next step is to tag others for this game.  Consider yourself tagged if you're reading this.  I'd love to know more about you.  Drop me a line if you do post.

Thanks - and I promise to have a stamping project or two soon!

Quiet from me...

Within the next 15 minutes, I'm heading out the door for a trip to Italy. It's work related and I won't get a ton of free time... but exciting still the same.

I'll have a post for you later this week that you won't want to miss!

If you're looking for great project ideas in the meantime, head over to the CHF Forum and Gallery! The link is on my sidebar.

Thanks and see you soon,
Lisa

p.s. Anyone recognize the Title above as a movie line? My cousin (who is easily 15 years younger than I) used to watch this movie every time I babysat him. I can still quote it in my sleep! No guesses... I'll keep you in suspense...

Change is good...

Just a quick post since I'm not feeling well this week...

I thought I'd change the template of my blog. Maybe it's my old eyes, but the black background was getting hard to read.

Thanks!
