Belli Challenge # 107

Hello again!  I'm back with another Belli Challenge project.  This is the second project for this month, as a guest designer with the Belli Challenge team. I've had a ton of fun designing with their crew!  Thanks for having me this month!

Belli Challenge #107: Merry Christmas!
Let It Snow

This wonderful snowman is from Shady Tree Studio's Just Believe stamp set.  I just love his Primitive / country style.  It fits this little guy to be stamped on kraft cardstock and painted with white pigment ink.  I added a bit of additional color with various Distress inks.  My single bit of embellishment for this card is a hand drawn holly leaves with circle punched berries.  They aren't perfect, but this snowy guy doesn't seem to mind.

Thanks again for stopping by today!  I'd love it if you stopped by the Creative Belli Blog for more inspiration and designer goodness!  It's been a joy working with the Belli Challenge team!!!

Belli Challenge # 106

Hello!  I'm really excited to be a Guest Designer for Belli Challenge.  You can see the wonderful designs and inspiration of their designers HERE.

The current challenge is #106 - anything Christmassy (paper, stamps, ribbon, snowflakes, charms, etc...)

That's right up my alley!  Here's my project...

Snowbody Like You

I really loved the November release at There She Goes.  I shopped... and couldn't be happier with their fun images!  This card just makes me happy... the bright colors of the patterned paper and the super cute image are just perfect together!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'd love it if you visited the Creative Belli Blog for more inspiration.

Technique Tuesday Guest Stamping Tech

Hello everyone!  I couldn't be more proud... I'm one of the Technique Tuesday Guest Stamping Techs for November!

I thought I'd share the projects I created for them here, as well as the links to all the chat.

First, the links:

Check out Lisa Silver's amazing TT projects! (that's the thread title, not me beefing!)

And now, the projects:
You're a Hoot

This project was created with lots of patterned paper. I created a free-form tree from a great green patterned paper (Lemonade by Basic Grey) and stamped the branch in a couple different ways to make it seem like part of one big tree. I thought it would be fun to stack my owls... a real HOOT!!!

Just A Note

For this project, I thought it would be fun to create a dimensional vase with some "real" roses. My vase was stamped twice, first on the main panel and then again on a second piece of cardstock (which was carefully trimmed). The top vase was popped up on the main panel and coated with a layer of Glossy Accents to give a little realism.

Tomorrow

This project was just fun! I had this in mind the minute I saw this stamp set... it's all about the images. One little detail that's not easily seen (unless you have the card in hand) is that I made a duplicate of the umbrella and scored to resemble a real umbrella.

Memories

This project was all about dimension! I stamped the Daisy several times, carefully trimmed each and layered one on top of the other to create a large, dimesional flower. I added a few leaves to the side to give a bit of balance. The ribbon on the card is gathered seam binding... just a little thread pulled through gives a great ruffle.

Thanks for visiting!
