I finally decided to purchase one of these stamps and created my first card. This is a simple layout.
I colored the main image with Copic markers. In all, I think the portion of the Foxglove Cottage (in the oval) took me about 7 minutes to color. The inked image makes it easy to color, since you don't have to worry about highlights and shadows. Layer colors to get depth, in the instance of the natural stone of the cottage.Here's a close up:
