JustRite Mega Blog Hop - Day 3
That's right!!! Can you believe I'm part of the JustRite Stampers Mega Blog Hop?! There is some serious talent associated with this project and I'm thrilled to be participating!!
Plant a Little Love Notecard Set
I had a blast putting together this gift set. I thought I'd create a set since I couldn't decide which image I wanted to use for a blog hop project. I had to use them all! Hah!
I love to give handmade cards as gifts. I began first by creating a box to house the set. I wanted something simple and that might get a second use, once all the notecards were used. I created a few handmade envelopes from copy paper, which I didn't picture above. Not that envelopes aren't exciting... but you know... I'm already putting a million pictures in this post. ;-)
I made a unique card from each image of the Plant a Little Love set (JB-09700). Each card was created with the same patterned paper line called County Fair by October Afternoon. I loved the colors of these papers, with their subtle floral patterns. Perfect for the floral stamp images! All the images were stamped with Walnut Stain Distress ink and embossed. Then, I colored each with Copic markers to match the patterned paper.
To complete the set, I made seals for the envelopes. I stamped the Bonus image from the 1-3/4" and 2-5/16" Oval Stamper (JB-08648) with Walnut Stain Distress ink on Natural cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copic markers and ran through my Xyron to add adhesive to the back. I punched the seals out from the cardstock from dog tag EK Success punch. I repeated this same process with a few different types of sentiments that can be added to the inside of the card (Thanks, Hello, Hi, etc.).
So, are you ready to get hoppin'?
30 designers, FIVE shopping sprees each day. No one knows where the prizes will be! Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of $600. JustRite will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees. For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including the JustRite blog. The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning. Each day’s comments will remain open for three days. A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Consult the listing of designers at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way! Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted on the JustRite blog. Good luck to everyone and enjoy all the JustRite eye candy along the hop!
Today during the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop (Day Three) JustRite and its sponsors will be giving away the following five prizes:
· $200 JustRite Shopping Spree
· $100 Spellbinders Shopping Spree
· $100 Copic Prize Package, and
· Two additional $100 JustRite Shopping Sprees!
Blog comments for Day Three will be open until Saturday at 6pm EST. On Sunday, JustRite will announce on their blog which five blogs have the mystery candy for Day Three. You will need to go to the JustRite blog to determine where you need to go to find out if you are one of the five lucky winners.
So, you should have arrived here from Mona Pendleton's blog. If not, here's the full list of participating designers on today's JustRite Mega Blog Hop. Remember to leave comments with as many of the daily designers for a chance at a MEGA-sized prize!!

ETA: I had a couple questions posted that I thought I'd answer. 1) Can you CASE? Absolutely! I hope you have a great time making a similar project for someone special. 2) How did I get the shading around the flowers? I used a neutral copic marker (W1-Warm Gray) and colored around the flowers. Then, using the Copic colorless blending marker (0), I softened the edges a bit, fading the colors out.
I hope that helps!
