Outlines Rubber Stamps Challenge - Loving Lots of Layers

Hello!!!  It's Monday and time for a new Outlines Rubber Stamp design team challengeJoin the Design Team in our weekly challenges with a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate each week!  Please check out the details of how to play and win on the Outlines Blog

This week our challenge was to create a card with loads and loads of layers!  I hope you'll create along with us this week!

Round Posy

It doesn't look like my card has more layers than necessary, does it?  But, my flower is a where all the attention is centered!  I stamped the Round Posy Sm (D-1040) and Round Posy Med (E-1039) images twice each on a piece of patterned paper from the Once Upon a Springtime collection by Graphic 45.  I trimmed all the flowers from the patterned paper, removing the decorative edge from one of each size.  I did give the flower layers a little added highlight of color with a copic marker.  The four layers are all piled on top of each other with the edges bent upward for added dimension.

Here's a view from the side.

I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration.  And don't forget you can join in our fun!

  1. Beautiful, Lisa. Those flowers were just made to layer and I love your choice of colors and papers.

  2. I am so loving that gorgeous bow, with the flower in the middle. Truly gorgeous in every way...colors, flower dimension. Such a beautiful card!

  3. Love the layers and how you showcased what that little edge on the flowers can do! Love it! Some of my favorite paper from G45!

  4. This is just gorgeous!!! The layers are lovely!
