Hello! I'm behind in sharing my CPS Sketch project last week, so I thought I'd post today. You can see more inspiration for the sketch HERE.
Here's sketch # 186...
And here's my take on the sketch...
Blooming Beauty
I love using Flower Soft! Ultra Fine Raspberry and Sweet Pea were used for my flowers. Filling in the blanks, I used Ultra Fine Sage. It adds a wonderful dimension to my project.
Thanks for visiting,

CPS Sketch # 184 - In Style Stamps
Hello! I had a lot of fun with this week's CPS Sketch. The sponsor for the weeek is In Style Stamps.
Hello Baby
I had so much fun coloring this sweet girl. Isn't she darling? I used more October Afternoon paper for this card... in fact, the background panel just reminds me of a quilt, which reminds me of being cozy and babies... it's a twisted logic how I landed there, but it worked for me. Hah!
I colored and trimmed a wide border around my little mama. She's the center of my flower matte, which mimics Tami's awesome sketch this week...
If you'd like to participate in this week's sketch, check out all the details at the Card Positioning Systems' blog. Thanks for visiting!

CPS Sketch # 183 - Sweet N Sassy Stamps
Hello. I have another CPS Sketch project to share with you today. The sponsor for sketch # 183 was Sweet N Sassy Stamps.
Seriously... isn't this a great sketch?
Happy Thanksgiving
I had a blast coloring this image... all the bounty! It's really hard to imagine, but the fall holidays are really creeping up on us. The weather is still really warm in St. Louis, but before we know it, we'll be sporting sweaters and wishing for summer!
Thanks for visiting!

CPS Sketch # 182 - Flower Soft
Hello! I'm running behind on my CPS project posts. I had a second project for the CPS Sketch # 182, that I thought I'd share with you.
My second Flower Soft project for this sketch was super fun to color! I had this Serendipity image (Provence in Spring) around and really thought it would be a pefert pairing with a waterfall of Flower Soft flowers and greenery.
Spring
I added a heavy dose of Sweet Pea and Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft for the planters and cascading vines around my doorway. To give my project a bit of something extra, I added Glossy Accents to the windows of my door.
This picture shows the shine and texture... sorry for the overly bright area of the picture, it's really hard to capture that gloss!

CPS # 182 - Flower Soft
Hello! I've a fun project to share with you today for this week's sketch. The CPS sponsor for the week is Flower Soft.
Sweet Moment
This sweet girl just tugged at my heart. She's so sweet to be hugging these flowers behind her to surprise someone with a gift. I colored her with Copic markers and then added Flower Soft (both the Summer mix and the Ultra Fine Sage) to the finished image. It's just the perfect touch!
Please stop by the CPS blog for more designer inspiration and the details on how to join in the fun.

Thinking of You
Have you ever been walking out the door to visit someone and realized you needed a card? And then frantically run back to your supplies to create a card in 10 minutes? This was just that project!
Thinking of You
This was a card I created for my Aunt Judy. I designed it to go with the small pot of violets I brought to her on Saturday. Knowing I needed to create this in only minutes, I kept the details simple. I stamped the leaves on the main panel and colored with Copics. Then, I stamped and colored the large violet. Carefully trimming the flower, I adhered to the main panel. After adding the sentiment, I added the same ink line treatment as a previous project... since I liked the look of it so much... and I was pressed for time.
The lavender paper was run through my Cuttlebug with the woodgrain texture plate. It was just a simple detail, but I think the texture really adds a bit of something special... just enough so no one would know the card was made in record time.
But, my oh my, what a mess I left behind in my stamping room. I still need to shovel it out again!
Thanks for visiting,
lise
