Hello!!! It's time for another CPS Sketch project... and this one is a true Free For All! It's anything goes at CPS... pick your favorite sketch for the year and anything you want for the images / style! How fun!!!!
Santa!
Oh yeah, it may be past Christmas, but don't you think you should send the Big Guy a "Thank You" card? Or were you naughty? LOL!!!
I used CPS Sketch # 170... one of my all-time favorite sketch this year. Although, picking a favorite sketch was REALLY tough. It's been an amazing year of sketches by Ms. Tami!
I stamped the Santa twice from the Just Believe set by Shady Tree Studio, one popped up on the main panel. I punched up the main panel with a sponged background (Antique Linen Distress ink).I'd love it if you stop by and see what else is going on at the CPS blog this week!! All good stuff, I promise!
Thanks for visiting,

Belli Challenge # 107
Hello again! I'm back with another Belli Challenge project. This is the second project for this month, as a guest designer with the Belli Challenge team. I've had a ton of fun designing with their crew! Thanks for having me this month!
Belli Challenge #107: Merry Christmas!
Let It Snow
This wonderful snowman is from Shady Tree Studio's Just Believe stamp set. I just love his Primitive / country style. It fits this little guy to be stamped on kraft cardstock and painted with white pigment ink. I added a bit of additional color with various Distress inks. My single bit of embellishment for this card is a hand drawn holly leaves with circle punched berries. They aren't perfect, but this snowy guy doesn't seem to mind.
Thanks again for stopping by today! I'd love it if you stopped by the Creative Belli Blog for more inspiration and designer goodness! It's been a joy working with the Belli Challenge team!!!

Merry Christmas
It's Christmas Eve... the snow is gently falling in St. Louis, guaranteeing a white Christmas. But to me, this doesn't matter because I'll be celebrating with those I love.
Merry Christmas from the Silver family! Stay safe and warm... and I'll be back in a few days to share more stamping inspiration!
Much love,

CPS Sketch # 198 - No Sponsor
Hello! It's time for another CPS Sketch project. December is a sponsor-free, so we're playing a bit for each sketch!
Let It Snow
This card couldn't be more simple. It's really all about the patterned paper, the balance of colors and some festive snowflakes! I stamped the "Let it Snow" sentiment from the Just Believe set from Shady Tree Studios on my tab edge (cut with the Tim Holtz edge die).
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to visit the CPS blog for more designer inspiration and ideas!

Daydream...
Hello! It's release day at Shady Tree Studio! I have another project to share with you that was a ton of fun to create!
Before I forget... I have blog candy up for grabs to celebrate the December 16th release. You can read more about it HERE. I'll randomly pick a winner from my followers on Sunday!
Daydream
As soon as I saw the "Groovy Kind of Love" stamp set, I knew I'd need to create this card. It's meant to look like a piece of ripped notebook paper... the kind of doodle you might have done in school when you should have been paying attention! I used to draw in all of my notebooks... nothing this amazing, but all my school notebooks had bubble letters, flowers, butterflies.
I stamped the house scene image on lined patterned paper and colored with Prismacolor pencils to mirror a notebook daydream drawing. A bit of washi and tissue tape and a metal clip round out the embellishments.
Be sure to stop by to see more inspiration from the Shady Tree Studios team:

Shabby Flowers... and Blog Candy!
Hello! It's the second day of sneak peeks for Shady Tree Studio's December release (December 16th) to be exact! I have a project I thought I'd share with you that I hope inspires.
Shabby Flowers
I used the same Bouquets and Butterflies (6"x8") set for today's card. There are SO many images and sentiments with this set. I stamped the flower trio with Black Soot Distress ink and embossed. The image was colored with Copic markers. I used a bit of Sepia Brown Copic to add highlights to the flowers and leaves to mimic the Girls' Paperie patterned paper. I added a carnival ticket behind the main image with my "with love" sentiment (it's my favorite of the set... the script is just amazing and natural to me).
I hope you'll check out the rest of the designer's projects today! (I forgot to do that for yesterday's post... oops!).
Oh!!! And if you made it this far, I'd like to offer some blog candy. Nancy sent me an extra set to share with some lucky winner. I've decided to add a few odds and ends to sweeten the deal. There's some Flower Soft, carnival tickets, ribbon, Zva Creative crystals joining the darling set from Shady Tree Studio!
I'll select from one of my followers on Sunday of this week. If you are already a follower, just leave me a note and let me know.
Thanks a bunch!

CPS Sketch # 197 - No Sponsor
Hello! It's time for another CPS Sketch project. This month is sponsor free for the designers... so we're creating up a storm!
Just Believe
I had a ball coloring this sweet primitive / country snowman from the Just Believe stamp set from Shady Tree Studio. Nancy, the owner and illustrator for these lovely images, was originally a part of Cornish Heritage Farms, where we worked together. She was so smart to purchase the rights back to her images and start her own enterprise. And it's a joy to be stamping with her images again!
I stamped and embossed him with Walnut Brown Distress ink on Kraft cardstock. I colored him with white pigment ink and added highlights, shadows and other details with various distress inks. I added a bit of faux-stitching around the main image (after adding a bit of frosty edges with white pigment ink). I opted for a faux blanket stitch. If I'd been really hardcore, I would have actually used thread and stitched... but, I'm a stamper and love ink.
And isn't this patterned paper just perfect for my snowman? I think so!
Thanks for stopping by this week! Be sure to stop by the CPS blog for more designer inspiration!

With Love
Hello! It's the first day of designer sneak peeks for Shady Tree Studio images and I have a super simple project to share.
With Love
This project couldn't be more understated and simple. I stamped the hearts from Bouquets and Butterflies stamp set with Black Soot Distress ink and embossed. Each heart was trimmed and stitched to the card base - a lacy doily and textured cardstock.
Here's a view from the side to show you the level of dimension.
I plan to make a stack of these to share for those I love all year long, maybe with different colored hearts (just for fun!).
I'll have more projects to share.

Exciting News!!!
Hello! I wanted to share with you some exciting news!!
I've been asked to join the Shady Tree Studio's Design Team! You can read the announcement HERE. I worked with Nancy, owner and illustrator for STS, when her line was marketed and sold through Cornish Heritage Farms. It's great to work with her again and her amazing team.
Be on the watch for the newest release (just around the corner) and potentially some blog candy. I've not done a great deal of blog giveaways in the past, but I'll have something for you soon to celebrate!
Thanks a million for visiting!

CPS Sketch # 195 - The {Stamps} of Life... Take 2!
Hello! I'm back to share a second design for this week's CPS Sketch! This week our sponsor is the {Stamps} of Life! I really couldn't wait to create with this second stamp set (Holly4Christmas)... it's amazing in every way. I love the font for the sentiments, the images, everything!
Holly Jolly Christmas
I split the sentiment on my main panel (carefully inking - and covering the part I didn't want to be inked with cellophane tape). I embossed and then colored with Copic markers. The strand of lights was embossed, colored and carefully trimmed to adhere to the front of my card.
The holly leaves were pieced with some of the (perfectly themed - if I do say so myself) patterned paper and used as an embellishment.
Thanks for visiting!

CPS Sketch # 195 - The {Stamps} of Life
Hello! It's time for another CPS Sketch project! This week our sponsor is the {Stamps} of Life! I just adore the images available from the {Stamps} of Life... be sure to check them out!
I created two projects this week for the sketch and sponsor - the first posted today.
Earthy Trees
My first project is all about paper piecing. I love this technique. It's a great way to incorporate color and continuity in a design. The birds were stamped and colored, popped up on the tree.
I'll be back tomorrow with my second design with this sketch.
Thanks for visiting!
