Outlines Rubber Stamp Challenge # 5
Hello and Happy Monday! This week's challenge was to use the Posy Mix and Match collection from Outlines. The hardest part of this challenge was to pick just one! I really love these images because they are so versatile! You can do so many different techniques with the posies and leaves.
Dimensional Posy
The base of my card was built with the lovely Peachy Keen KaiserCraft patterned paper. The rich colors and the leaf pattern were a perfect fit for the Posy Leaf (F-1045) and the Jagged Posy Lg (G-1030).
This card has a few techniques tucked into it. I stamped the flower and leaves on various patterns from the Peachy Keen paper pad for a form of paper piecing. Then, I trimmed pieces of the flowers from the image to make this a dimensional card. I added lots of lift to this card with 3M mounting tape. And I don't think I've been able make a single card without the Viva Decor pearl pens either... it's just amazing! The pearls hold their shape and are in such wonderful colors!
You can see in this next picture that each layer was gently bent.
I hope you'll stop by and visit the rest of the team for more inspiration:

CPS Sketch # 202 - PSA Essentials
Hello! It's time for another CPS sketch project. This week the prize sponsor is PSA Essentials. I'm incredibly intrigued by their stamps. So unique! Be sure to stop by their site for more information on how the stampers work.
Whooose Birthday?
This sketch is so much fun! I used October Afternoon Campfire paper as my inspiration. The little owl at the top of the patterned paper inspired my labeler sentiment strip... Whooose birthday...
It's a great masculine card, which is something I always need.
I'd love it if you stop by the CPS blog for more designer inspiration and details on the the sketch this week.

Outlines Rubber Stamp Challenge # 4
Hello! It's time for another Outlines Rubber Stamps design team challenge! This week's challenge is to incorporate anything square into the project. With so many wonderful square stamps at Outlines, this was an easy challenge... until it was time to decide that is! Haha!Hi
This card is a wealth of squares, don't you think? I love the scrolled design of the Inspiration Background. It's clean lines make it perfect. I decided to keep this fairly clean and simple... the Inspiration Background was embossed on white, light and medium teal, and pink papers. I carefully trimmed the squares and adhered to a 4.5" square card base.
I'd love it if you'd stop by and visit the other Outlines DT members for more inspiration:

CPS Sketch # 201 - Sweet N Sassy Stamps
Hello! I haven't shared my sketch card yet for CPS, so I hope you don't mind a quick post. This week's sponsor is Sweet N Sassy Stamps... a truly wonderful stamp company with Christian values that shine through in all they do. How wonderful, is all I have to say!
Believe in Miracles
I just love the intense color combination of the Curio patterned paper. It's golden tones are perfect with the butterfly from the Everyday Miracles stamp set by Sweet N Sassy Stamps. I made this card with a specific person in mind... and hope that the sentiment (Believe in Miracles) brings her some peace.
The butterfly was stamped and colored. I carefully trimmed and gently bent the wings. It's perched closely to the Prima flower... perhaps ready to take flight.
Be sure to visit the CPS blog for more inspiration!

Outlines Rubber Stamp Challenge # 3
Hello! It's time for another Outlines Rubber Stamps Design Team Challenge! This week, our challenge was to create with hearts... in the image, the shape of the card... you get the picture.
Delicious
I just loved all the hearts on this gorgeous image - Tall Decoration Cake (H-809). The hearts are tucked into the layers and all the detail of the image is just sweetness! This image would be perfect for a wedding, anniversary or birthday card, making it the best kind of stamp to have in your stash.
I embellished my cake with Diamond Stickles and White Ice Viva Pearl Pen. It's super simple and just a bit sugary, but the perfect card to share.
I'd love it if you would visit the rest of the design team for more inspiration!

CPS Sketch # 200 - Flower Soft
Hello again! It's time for another CPS project! This week's sponsor is Flower Soft. The newest mixed colors are just sublime and all make a star appearance in my project this week.
With Love
I started with a flower image from Elegant Valentine by Shady Tree Studio and colored with Copic markers. I added the coordinating Flower Soft color to the center of each flower. It adds such a great dimensional element to the project, don't you think? Tissue and washi tapes add balance and a little interest to the side of the design... and fits the sketch.
I'd love it if you stop by the CPS Blog for more designer inspiration and information on how to participate in this week's sketch.
Thanks for visiting,

Outlines Rubber Stamp Challenge #2
Hello! I'm super excited about this week's challenge for the Outlines DT. Our mission, should we choose to accept (hee, hee) is to create a Valentine's Day and use the pearl pens by Viva Decor (available in the Outlines Rubber Stamp store).
Happy Day
I had a BLAST stamping this sweet Songbird! I colored the bird with copic markers and added a few blasts of the airbrush to give the background some sky. Then, I used the Red and White Ice pearl pens to dot around the image and layers. The hearts are all colored in with the pearl pens too.Viva Decor Pearl Pens were a new item to me. I've used other similar pearl paints in the past and have had varied success with them. The consistency of the Viva Decor Pearl Pens are just luscious! I found them really easy to use because of the long "pen-like" bottle. The bottle makes it SO easy to hold it still for delicate application. I know I'll be purchasing more colors to add to my collection!
Be sure to visit my fellow team members for more inspiration today!

CPS Sketch # 199 - The {Stamps} of Life
Hello! I have a new CPS project to share with you today. The sponsor for this week is The {Stamps} of Life. I just adore the images in each set! The font is just FAB!
Be Mine
This was a fun and fast project for me. The sentiment was stamped on the lined patterned paper from Tickled Pink (My Mind's Eye) paper pad. I die-cut the heart with one of the Nestabilities heart dies. The heart was brushed with glitter glue and then covered with vintage glass glitter for a sugar-coated shimmer. It's a perfect Valentine sentiment too, don't you think?
Be sure to visit the CPS blog for more designer inspiration and details on how you can participate in this week's sketch!

Outlines Rubber Stamps
Hello! Happy New Year!
I'm so excited about today's post. It's my first as a member of the Outlines Rubber Stamp Company Design Team! When I was just beginning to do freelance design work several years ago, my first opportunity in the industry was with Outlines Rubber Stamps. I feel like I've come full circle (in the most wonderful way)! ;-)
The Design Team will have weekly projects to share with you all with a set theme. The theme for our first week is anything goes!
Celebrate
This card is all about the Sketchy Cupcake image (H-1016). It's an absolutely wonderful cupcake, isn't it? I placed a bit of cellophane tape over the sentiment to only ink the image for the focal point of the card. I inked the sentiment separately for the flag on the side. I did a second card, which I'll be giving my daughter for her birthday in a couple weeks without the ribbon and in pinks.
After coloring the image, I coated the frosted part of the cupcake with vintage glass glitter for the ultimate sugar-coating!
