This week our challenge was to create a card with Kraft Cardstock. I don't think a week goes by without me using kraft cardstock... it's in my bones! I hope you'll create along with us this week! I think this one is a breeze!!!
Country Christmas
I stamped Zarek (F-59) directly onto kraft cardstock and using a variety of inks to paint him. White pigment ink fills in for the snow and Distress inks work beautifully for the rest of the details - a waterbrush works wonderfully!
And bonus... I have a holiday card made before the mad rush of the Season!
I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration. Don't forget you can join in our fun!

ReplyDeleteWe are never happy with the current weather and this is a breath of cooooool air! How pretty and how fun too!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Lise!
ReplyDeleteYou've made me truly "need" this darling snowman! Oh what a fabby-fun card! (And a welcome bit of cooling eye-candy in this Texas heat!!)

Tis adorable!!! A perfect snowman to combine with Kraft paper! The frayed edges, the image, the kraft paper --- total country charm! Great coloring with the water brush too!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I think snowmen and kraft paper are a perfect combination. This is just so cute and I love the distressing on the edges, very antique look to the card.
