This week our challenge was to create a card with one of the Bleach It Or Not images. I hope you'll create along with us this week!
Spring Tulips
So, I opted not not use the Tulip (I-211) image with bleach. What I wanted was a softly colored image. I stamped the Tulips (I-211) image with Versamark ink on smooth cardstock. Then, using Pebbles Pearlescent chalks, I "colored" the image. The chalks stick to the Versamark ink. And it's impossible to see in my picture, but the colors are so soft and shimmery in real life. So pretty!
I'd love it if you stopped by to visit the other designers for more inspiration. And don't forget you can join in our fun!

ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL Lisa......lol......... I see we used the same stamp and still opted out of the Bleach.........lmbo! It was such a pleasure working on the DT with you and I sure hope our paths cross again too!

Beautiful - great colors!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I read gorgeous from here! Love love the softness and the beautiful bright cheerfulness of the whole card!
ReplyDeleteThe Pebbles chalks are so shimmery in person... the softness of the color on this is so sweet and pretty. A fantastic way to show off this stamp and another neat technique... you are always pulling something out of the technique box that I have not done in too long.... I gotta put down the copics for a minute every now and then and play with my other toys.
ReplyDeleteOh myyyyyy! I do need to try out your technique, Lise! This is beautiful and so softly serene! I'm going to miss working alongside you so much ... it has truly been my pleasure to be associated with you together on a DT! Blessings & (((hugs)))) to you!

Lise, this is such a beautiful card. Really good idea you had about Versamark and the Pebbles chalks - love the feel of it and I bet it's really shimmery in person!
