Did you Gobble Until You Wobbled?

So, did everyone have a fabulous Thanksgiving? I did! We had a day full of fabulous food and family. I ate WAY too much! I still wobble!

I'm so thankful for living close to my family. I get to see them whenever I want. But, it's wonderful to share a meal and tradition.

I made this card and forgot to post this in time, but I love the image so much I had to share with you today.

The turkey stamp and Gobble sentiment are from Cornish Heritage Farms - it was the Stamp of the Month last month. I really love how Kim Hughes drew this cheeky little turkey. He knows he won't be the main course... he's just a little too slim! LOL!!!
The card was a super quick one. I used a small piece of cardstock that had been stamped with the Reverse Dot Backgrounder in tan ink that matched the cardstock. I stamped the turkey on Georgia Pacific white cardstock in Pitch Black ink by Ranger, inked with a base color from my Copic markers and highlighted with colored pencils. Finishing touches to the card are the striped May Arts ribbon, the sentiment popped out with the key tag punch, and Ranger Glossy Accents on the eyes and feathers.
Keri Lee Sereika (the CHF Director of Education) wrote a tutorial in the CHF Forums on Bottle Cap Pins ---> HERE. I HAD to try this. My first attempt was this fun little turkey. The supplies needed are:
Bottle cap
Sizzix or hammer / boards for flattening the cap
Heat gun
1" circle punch
stamps, paper, coloring media
Pin Clasp
Hot glue gun (optional) - you can also use the glossy accents to adhere the pin clasp to the back

I won't repeat the full tutorial here, but please check out Keri's wonderful directions. These are really easy to do. If you make one, be sure to let me know. I'd love to see what you created!

Thanks for stopping by,

Lisa
