New CHF Release

ETA: I removed the posted card in this blog addition, as I've been lucky enough to have it selected for publication. Kim Hughes, artist and designer extraordinaire at CHF, graciously allowed us to use her Out for Publication sign. Thanks Kim!

So... are you ready to be enabled?!?!?! Kim Hughes, artist for CHF, has completely outdone herself with several new stamps sets. They will be released tomorrow and are amazing.

As a quick peak, I have a quick card for you...

I've been using the Silhouette Blooms I set for the last week and loving every minute of it. I think you can create elegant, detailed cards to the simple.

This card is a base of Poison Ivory cardstock, mounted on Prism Razzleberry Dark. The poison ivory cardstock has a window cut out and embossed, using Classic Circle Nestabilities from Ellen Hutson's store. I'm a bit stuck on this color combo lately, but I really love how it came together. The inks used were Adirondack Raisin, Oregano and Butterscotch... Pitch Black for the sentiment. A page pebble covers the lower right hand corner element.

Here's a peak inside the card... very simple, really.

Thanks for stopping by... I'll have more on the new CHF sets tomorrow. Or better yet, run on over to CHF to see all the wonderful sets available - November 6th.

Loved the cards in your last post but was disappointed I couldn't see them closer up, too small:(
