CHF Layout Challenge

This is the FIRST Cornish Heritage Farms Scrapbooking Layout Challenge! Very exciting and ground-breaking! Lesley Langdon created a fantastic layout sketch for us to use.

My Little Boy:
This actually was a fun page to create. My son is completely dedicated to his bunny. I seriously believe they'll be headed to college together. ;-)

The one fun element to this page are the split pencils. It was a huge mess, but I thought a good touch.

I will state this as a disclaimer... I am not a strong scrapbooker. BUT, I will learn and I know the wonderful ladies at CHF that are the rock stars in this area will help. In fact, I challenge anyone that says they can't scrap to head to the Cornish Heritage Farms Forum in the Scrap Chat area to read the tips, tricks and join the team for discussion on the biz. These ladies also have something planned for this Saturday (May 3rd), as it's National Scrapbooking Day.

For some truly amazing projects, please check out these fine ladies:

Alli Miles
Dawn Lusk
Julia Stainton
Kim Hughes
Kristine Reynolds
Lesley Langdon
Lisa Strahl
Becky Olsen

I hope you'll take this challenge with us. Be sure to post to the CHF gallery!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is darling Lisa!!! I just love those flowers and the split pencils! So creative!

  2. Perfect layout, love the pencils, great colour!!! I am so proud of you for challenging scrapbooking--you are a great scrapper.

  3. great job Lise! so cute! and I want to see a page with him and the bunny upon college admission *wink*

  4. How funny, the bunny and boy will get a degree in engineering or something together ;)
    CUTE boy, and great page!
Love the pencil detail, very clever!

  5. This is SO cute! Too funny about the bunny -- my 8-YO daughter has a 'thing' for a stuffed doggy (that was a gift to my first son, who's now-22-YO, when he was 18 mos...needless to say the dog's been 'well loved' by all five kids, but none were as devoted to her like Chloe is (she still sleeps with her). The dog looks pretty mangy these days, but she's oh so cute in the dresses my daughter makes her wear -lol!). I don't think my daughter will ever part with her.

Oops. Sorry for the LONG story. lol

Your LO -- and you son too -- are really cute, and the pencils add a nice creative touch. Very original.
